We analyze and deliver insight into what drives behavior. We do this through workshops, masterclasses, and evidence reports. We also deliver strategy advice to support organizations in setting up processes or systems that lead to long-lasting positive behavior change.
We use the latest scientific evidence from around the world to create custom behavior-change interventions. Each idea is tested out in the real world, to test its ability to change actual behavior.
We create change by testing what really works. We conduct robust quantitative tests to explore, iterate, and build innovative solutions. Experiments are central to our work. We also help organizations to increase the impact of their policies, programs, products and services through impact evaluation.
Our Process
Explore
We start by defining the problem and goal behavior with maximum precision. We talk to stakeholders, explore the system, and identify problem behaviors.
Diagnose
We collect evidence on barriers and enablers of the goal behavior through observation, interviews, or exploratory data analysis. By the end of this phase, we conceptualise the (policy) solution.
Design
Now we know what behavior we want to change, we review theories and evidence to understand what works. From here we develop one or more interventions, and implement in collaboration with our partners.
Evaluate
We define measures of success and then trial the intervention. Did it work? And how? These are the central questions in any behavior change project. Where possible, we implement the nudge using the Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) method, for maximum confidence in the results. Finally, we share our learnings.
